The Puppies are here

Its been a few days since Ive updated this blog, but I guess I can be forgiven- Dinda's puppies are here! We have a total of 8, five males and 3 females, all healthy and happy baby fila's. There is even a little guy trimmed in chrome- bear and Dinda reached deep into the bench for that one as I do not usually produce this color pattern. But my oh my is he a beauty. Even tho his markings are a negative by the FCI, and to a lesser extent the CAFIB standard, he still looks so sharp with his white collar and stocking. I love his chrome, if he had been a little girl that would have been my keeper!
It was a nice turn around to have 3 females in one litter- WTG Bear, at least you dont have your Dad's tendency to produce all males. After all we need those girls if we want future pups!
So far I am very pleased with the type and consistency i see in this breeding- my 25th fila litter, how nice that it coincides with our Silver Anniversary

My name is Erin Marcum and I live in Iowa. I have been doing research on these magnificent dogs for over 6 months and have decided it is time to get one. I am looking for a male brindle preferably a light brinlde that has kind of an orange brindle color with black. I love how rich the color is. I am not interested in breeding as Im wanting one for guard purposes and to be a family member. I do show a dogue de bordeaux and she is turning a year old on march 21st. My husband and I love mastiff breeds. Please email me back and let me know what all you want to be a owner of one of these magnificent puppies. Thanks, Erin Marcum

Hi, I am wondering if you have any of your babies left? I realize this breed is not for everyone. I had my experience with this breed about 2 years ago and I am a devoted lover of these beautiful unique beings. I have a 10 week old female and am wanting a male for her. I like the features of yours. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks so much.
